So yes, when it comes to the percentage of Yemenis living in Ansarallah-controlled areas, the figure of 80% is closer to reality than 55%.
How do you explain the fact that Marib, Taiz, Aden, mukalla and Abyan without including the other villages have 10m population.. The 80% claim is not realistic and have been debunked several times. Just check these cities and see how many people it holds and then compare to the whole population you will realize it...
It is more like 55% or 60%.. There are atleast 12-13 million in Yemen gov't held territories where you have like 16-17m on the other side. With 80% of the country in the government control including the oil, ports, Islands and air control.
