No it doesn't but you cannot really compare the two. IEDs are designed to be simple: it's in the name. No country in the world is immune to casualties by IEDs. In our case, we were fighting a foreign funded agency on our own soil against people who have been warriors since long before Pakistan was even created, to the point that the Brits used their territory as a buffer-zone against Russia in the Great Game. Furthermore, our military was simply not equipped (in terms of tactics and strategy) to fight a counter-insurgency as the main objective was a conventional defense against India. The Saudis are not fighting on their own soil, and every pilot worth his salt has to go through some basic training regarding defense against SAMs, which the Saudis severely lack as can be seen not just in this video but a bunch more. Also, you can consult Dan Hampton's book Viper Pilot to get a better sense of how woefully untrained and bloated with nepotism the Arab fighter pilots are.

P.S: The destruction of the Orion at Mehran was because of insider knowledge, same with the bombing at Tarbela and the takeover of GHQ. And yes, our military was woefully under-prepared and stretched thin and deserve the blame for not combating radicalisation within their own ranks.

As far facts are concerned, i invite all those members who have lived in or visited Saudi Arabia, shall come forward and educate us if there are any Yemenis living happily in KSA and what are their sentiments towards Iran and it's proxies. While, Iranian proxies originating from Pakistan, is no secret to the world. It's report of every intelligence agency around the globe. International world judge every Pakistani from that perspective... hence for Ajit Devil mission accomplished.
