Who on earth is Morocco going to fight? They don't need such military spending.

Unrealistic. If the Saudis are funding, they'll buy from Europe, Russia or the US. Pakistan is out of the picture.

Morocco buys weapons from U.S while Algeria buys from Russia.

Basically its Saudis and Americans on Morocco's side and Russians alone on Algeria's. The only neutral European country is France. Its exactly like what Britain is to Pakistan and India.

No amount of Saudi money will help them in their "issues" with Spain.Any attack on Ceuta,Melila,the rest of Spanish held islands is an attack on NATO,EU.

There is issues but not enmity with Morocco from the Algerian side. Algeria has never considered Morocco as an ennemi or a threat. To Morocco Algeria is considered as threat, for some reasons they are keeping a secret, so if a raison is found please share it with us.

I think they still protest frequently over those territories.They'even send some soldiers a few years ago on Spanish islands but were promptly evicted by Spanish SF.

We must remember that those territories are integral part of Spain for hundreds of years,i don't see what legal claims Morocco has on them.
