By 2020, if F-35 doesn't come to IDAF, Saudi Air Force will be more powerful than Israeli Air Force on technological level.

hundreds of Upgraded latest Eurofighters, hundreds of Upgraded most latest F-15s and F-15SGs, and then ground-attack supersonic jets like upgraded Tornadoes.

And then AWACs like E-3s etc.

And don't even go to the weapons Saudi Air Force have...

Cruise missiles like Storm Shadow, AIM-120C-7s (most latest BVR out there), 2000Ib GBUs etc, and so on.

anyway Israel has got Israeli tech behind IAF even if it is imported...KSA hasn't that advantage. It is highly dependent on suppliers which happen to be their allies.

Israel has had all of that plus it's homegrown ones which btw is good enough to be sold..jus sayin'..

Why purchasing more EFs when your air force is already very powerful and you are not going to fight a war specially with Israel?

How KSA's EF see IDF planes as friends or foes on their IFF??

Now with having a large fleet of 4.5 gen fighters KSA should have invested in having a 5th gen plane as Israel will have it soon.

Weather they like it or not they would have to go to war with Israel sooner or later either this Saud Family will do it or they will be thrown out and some one else will do it but it is going to happen because this current action of Gaza has fueled more anger in Muslim world it would lead to more unity among public but if our leaders don't do anything they will be taken out first than other enemies
