Next is watching you getting raped by a group of feminist activists  :D  :omghaha:

hahaha look who is talking about Human Rights :rofl:

You didn't do a thing better either. Those who live in glass house shouldn't throw stones for fun.

It's good they did so. Things like these give us some reason to laugh in our otherwise mundane boring lives. Imagine coming back home after a long day at work and then seeing some news item like this. Makes the whole day so much better

Laugh as much as you wish, just make sure you won't hurt yourself.

On topic, The argument that was made is as guanine as the condemnation of your own country's stand against the persecution of Hindus here and there - which is unfortunate - at least for me:

Congressman Pallone Condemns Persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh Following Meetings with Hindu American Foundation | Hindu American Foundation (HAF)

Or your country's stand against the US evangelical presence in your own country:

Worthy Christian News » India Asks U.S. "Evangelists" To Leave

It's not the forum's fault that this news was published by the source only yesterday, presumably because the hypocritical "slamming" happened only yesterday.

In any case, please don't concern yourself with my subscriptions - I'm sure you have other things to worry about. Even if you don't, your unsolicited advice is unnecessary, and unlikely to be entertained. When I need your advice, I'll ask. Your concern for me is noted though.

On topic, this is the best April Fool's gag ever - too bad it was a month late though.

So I'm guessing that I'm right to say that India's government legitimate reaction to violence against Indians in Australia is presumably hypocritical?

Really?

So tell me something, do you allow Churches and temples to be built in Saudi?

Does sharia allow that?

You have the right to criticize others the day you are on an equal footing.

I don't know what does Sharia law have to do with this. Former Muslim Empires housed places of worship of people of other faiths.

Yes, we do have Churches - in compounds - many of which are being widely open to those who practice the Christian faith.

I'm not sure about Temples to be honest to goodness. All I know is that we do have a historic site which includes a Temple Mada'in Saleh.

No, because the Govt of India (specifically the overseas affairs ministry) has a duty to look after the welfare of Indian citizens residing abroad. That's the whole purpose of that ministry. If India was lecturing Australia about human rights in general, then yes it would be highly hypocritical, considering the fact that Australia has a much better record on human rights than India does.

In this case, were any Saudi citizens' safety threatened in Norway? If so, they have a right to demand an explanation or ask for punishment for the perpetrators. But for Saudi to lecture Norway on the concept of religious freedoms or human rights in general...let's just say, the irony meter cannot go that high.

But for Saudi to lecture Norway on the concept of human rights in general

It wasn't a lecture about Human Rights in GENERAL but rather to ensure the protection of Muslims. This is what KSA said:

Saudi Arabia has reportedly asked Norway to do more to protect Muslims living in the Scandinavian country and to counter campaigns against Prophet

I'm hoping the aforementioned quote will set the record straight for you.

Sadly, nothing has changed. Indians are being discriminated against over there. They have been witnessing violence since 2009 and continuing. I hope India will take serious steps to protect its nationals abroad. And I hope India's condemnation of persecution of Hindus evolves into an action.

1) That is not for Saudi Arabia to demand, since officially they can only speak for Saudi Arabians. Norwegian muslims for example, are wards of the state of Norway. A Country's government and ambassadors can only represent the country, not any religion.

2) India did NOT condemn persecution of hindus in Australia, we condemned the attacks on Indians. India's ministries cannot and will not speak on behalf of any specific religion. Any racially motivated attack that took place was rightly viewed as an attack on Indians, regardless of their religious beliefs. The religious beliefs of the victims or the perpetrators did not matter one whit to us.
