A deal signed between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan back in 2018 involved USD 3.2 billion worth of the fuel, which expired two months ago and Imran Khan, is still waiting for a response from the Saudi monarchy over his request to extend the facility. The reason why $1 billion was paid early was due to a $1 billion loan from China. Folks, Narendra Modi’s Hindutva trolls are having a field day over this. However, there is some logic in all this. Pakistan was paying 3.2% interest on Saudi Arabia loan. It has now arranged $1 billion loan from State Administration Foreign Exchange (SAFE) of China at London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) plus 1%, which at current rates comes to around 1.18% Saudi Arabia, the largest exporter of petroleum and one of the richest countries in the world, is facing an unprecedented crisis due to historically low oil prices. Brent crude, the oil that primarily Saudi Arabia sells to the world, is trading at 44 dollars per barrel, against the 82 dollars per barrel rate budgeted by the Saudi government in FY 2020.

MBS is a very different man to his predecessors. A man that lacks character.

No doubt, Pakistan and Saudi relations are not going to be what they used to be. It opens up other avenues closer to home.
LGBT...

Time to conquer the Haremain from these little Dejjals is fast approaching...

Pakistani need to wake up, new Saudi generation talk business no emotion or free ride favors... Pak did enough favor to Gulf countries , now care about people of Pakistan. For the last 15 years hundreds of Saudi student went back to there country after getting education in West, there perception is totally different.
Plus , we have huge disconnect for decades, there was point when all Middle Eastern students use to come Pakistan for there education, but in 90s due to war in Afghanistan and WOT, they went to Indian schools. It was huge leverage for Pakistan. But its over now.....

Not really, he is a man KSA needs to take it out of the oil doldrums which his predecessor put KSA in to.

Exactly, he is young so I get why he is criticized for not being the same man as his forefathers who's ideals are obsolete.

MBS has no character. The Saudis are involved in their little regional rivalries. Pakistan is not going to serve as a lackey of GCC nations. From the illegitimate war in Yemen to GCC favors for Hindustan. If this is the direction that GCC nations have opted good for them. Pakistan is going to go its own way. In fact we already have and all you need is a pair of eyes.

That is good for KSA. If the young MBS wants to do things his own way he is free to do so. Pakistan has its own interests.
His interests are making his economy not dependent on oil to the scale it is on right now.

That says nothing about his character which is foul in my opinion. KSA is free to do as it likes being a sovereign nation. Pakistan can also choose its own path which it already has. Pakistan will opt for regional inter-connectivity and cooperation.

He is exploiting hajj into tourism, revenue generation. Made extremely expensive. After oil, KSA biggest revenue comes from Holy Kaba.

Oil is reaching its peak demand curve... By some measures its already over hump... So the Hajj revenue is going to soon become it's main revenue... Back to the old pre-oil days ..
