Gulf States, Iran and practically 99% of the Muslim world already backs Pakistan's stance on Kashmir.Proof that this so called alliance is geared specifically toward Iran, and they want Pakistan's military to provide the muscle.
I don't see why Pakistan should join such an alliance. Why antagonize Iran and for what gain, pushing them into India's arms? Gulf states aren't going sacrifice their relations with India or back Pakistan Kashmir.
Also - Gulf States have always supported us; they supported us in all wars except 1999 (which wasnt really a war) ; they promised us 80,000 barrels of oil a day if sanctions were placed and were the only countries to support Pakistan's nuclear program and even had nation-wide celebrations during our nuclear tests.
People tend to under-estimate the Arab military power - but forget alot has changed. Indian military and 'professionalism' doesnt mix; especially when their Navy has turf wars with the Coast Guards, half of their army doesnt even have helmets or bullet proof vests, and their Airforce loses a squadron a year to crashes. First get on Bangladesh's level before you compare your self to Arab countries. If they are 30+ Arab air forces it sure can. Outside of the Israeli and Iranian militaries, all militaries in that region are utterly toothless and the proffesional military of India would slice through them like a hot knife through butter.
But this entire idea is flawed, the Arabs will never bleed on behalf of Pakistan.
Arabs and other Muslim countries have always offered to provide support militarily but Pakistan only request logistic support. In 1971 alone Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran sent squadrons of F-104s, F-86s and F-5s. Military supplies poured into Pakistan from the gulf countries and Iran.
In 1965 Indonesia, Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia provided 6 naval vessels, jet fuel, guns and ammunition, and financial support. Indonesia also offered Pakistan to invade the Nicobar and Andaman Islands to divert Indian attention.
