Saudi Arabia seeks Pakistan's cooperation for NATO-like military alliance

The meaning of "alliance" must be very clear to other 33 members specially the Arab kingdoms. It doesn't mean it will be a one way street. They all have to rub Pakistan back proper. Meaning unconditional and full support to Pakistan national interests and taking Pakistan enemies as theirs literally.

Good Idea but must be linked with some kind of economic block also, something a true FTA between all member countries not just a Monarchy saving alliance and next should be a common currency

The only Ummah for us is who lives in the confines of our borders minus Afghanis. We were always alone in our fights and always will be. No one is going to be physically on our side with our conflict with India and it is not even a very good idea,Pakistan doesn't have problem a manpower. What we need is weapons and money.
India will continue to be a threat and factory for TTP and likes and our economy is not going to take off soon. A good economy to start with and big toys can help us cement our defense against India.
If however like a freak act of nature Pak-India relations improve, then we should rethink our alliance. Our threat is primarily conventional and in Arab world primarily assymetric with some organisation specially in Syria/Iraq.

It's easier to fight large disjointed alliances. 90% of those countries are toothless. They just want Pakistan protecting them.

we will join you as a brothers not as a slave these should be pakistan terms on take it or leave it bases.
1) treat our country and our civilians as you treat your arab allies and citizens respectively
2) first day after formation of collation send troops(every collation partner not just ksa) to fight in fata with us as we are also fighting a defensive war here and make a blood bond with us so we know you are willing to spill your blood for us the same way we are willing to spill ours for you.
3)pact should be defensive in nature and no country have any obligation to protect other if it was the aggressor. saudia, uae. pakistan. egypt and turkey being the larger powers should have veto power in any matter.
4)our nukes are off the table in any war be it offensive or defensive.
5) a R&D pool fund should be built which is funded by every collation partner and purpose of this fund is to promote in house manufacturing of modern tech (tot or other type of help can be also be bought through this fund)
6)saudia is not de facto leader of this collation so military leader is selected on merit and by consent of every major player(veto power can be used here) not on bases of nationality.
7)stop the funding of extremist in our country.
8)sharing of military technology.

This would indeed isolate India. Any attack on Pakistan from India would invoke not just China but also these member states.

The US is a 'bonafide', self-certified policeman. Normal rules don't apply to it.

so iran is innocent. you mean wahabie not sunni. sunni dont follow that thinking this is saudi wahabie thinking and infitrating the sunni groups. one only needs to observe how irans behave at the border and kiling pakistani that enuff to tell us that one day iran could just turn on us. i do not underestimate the inteligence of iranian governmnet they are shrewd thinkers and know how to play the crowd even pakistanis. Both saudi and iranian are a disgrace, they sure like to talk about oh we are super powers from the past this and that but end up playing proxy in someone elses backyard. truth be told both countries have done nothing for ummah except shouting contest and propaganda.
