The days of oil and gas are numbered. The speed at which Ford, GM, etc are switching to electric cars is remarkable. Within 15 years we will have an all electric future, cars, jets, trains, tanks, ships etc.

The US has enough oil till this happens. It no longer needs to deal with the gulf folks and treat them gently. These Saudi and other Gulf arabs need a plan - quick. A plan which must keep them indispensable to the world.

The Genome Research article quotes ydna haplogroup J1 as being genetic "indigenous" Arabian.

Interesting to see that 46% of the Jews Cohanim men descend from the same man as so many Arabs do. Guess they must be the same people.

Biden will likely not approve Saudi cooperation with LM by seeing Biden latest statement which is still in accordance with his statement during the Presidential debate that is quite aggressive toward the kingdom.

Despite still has connection with US technology, particularly the engine, I believe KFX/IFX program has less string to US government compared to F16/F15/F 35. The weapons is also European with possibility replaced with Korean ones as SK has plan to make AA missile using ramjet technology for KFX/IFX. Korean is also developing air to surface missile that is intended for KFX/IFX.

Future Saudi fighters acquisition might be KFX/IFX, but I am against selling the fighters if it will be used for ground strike mission to Yemen. The Yemen conflict should be solved immediately.
