From wikipedia these are the terms of the accord;


(a) Complete withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories, including the Syrian Golan Heights, to the 4 June 1967 line and the territories still occupied in southern Lebanon; (b) Attain a just solution to the problem of Palestinian refugees to be agreed upon in accordance with the UN General Assembly Resolution No 194. (c) Accept the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the Palestinian territories occupied since 4 June 1967 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with East Jerusalem as its capital. In return the Arab states will do the following: (a) Consider the Arab–Israeli conflict over, sign a peace agreement with Israel, and achieve peace for all states in the region; (b) Establish normal relations with Israel within the framework of this comprehensive peace.

Fundamentally Israel of 48, 67 or 73 remain the same from Pakistan's government perspective.

It will be the biggest uturn of the century if any Pakistani government decide to revisit the States policy in that regard.

Jinnah died in 48 announcing 2 clear policies for both Kashmir and Palestine. Nothing has changed from then on.

This is not state of Pakistan's policy. The state outright rejects any fundamental political doctrine for nation state of Israel without mentioning Palestine or Arabs.

It would take someone populist like Imran Khan to pull the engineering skills needed to change the policy state above.

I think Pakistan policy is very clear, the Pm also spoke abt it. Right of self determination of ppl of Palestine and solving the issue would be acceptable to Pakistan. The conditions put forward by saudi are exactly that. Though i doubt israel will ever accept those conditions.

I'm still waiting for the actual concrete benefits the UAE has gained from recognising Israel. How things have improved for them after they chose to recognise Israel so we can see what the whole thing was about.

We are always told that Pakistan would benefit tremendously from recognising Israel, so I want to see what a country that recently did so has gained.

So before we talk about whether Pakistan should or shouldn't recognise Israel, let's get a list of the supposed benefits that will bring.

One point I want to add is that the Arab move comes in the backdrop of Arab-Iran rivalry which was in line with Israeli security concerns as well as the goals of the US. In the context of Pakistan's main security concern relating to Kashmir and India, do we have such an alignment with both the US and Israeli objectives in the region?

Well they said it clearly abt policy on israel. The rest about modernization is not bad, infact Pakistan should do it too. Its better to have a modern society than a jahil society where u can be killed by mobs for removing a poster.

Saudi Arabia has started recognizing Israel. Even Israeli PM used Saudi airspace for travel. Just matter of year or two, Saudi Arabia will officially recognize Israel, as his 2030 vision of tourist paradise destination.
