You should have drawn your circle larger...look above the S-400 battery and the Flankers...beyond the atmosphere into space. That should tell you something related to the recent news about a revamped air defence system.

Chinese did manage to shoot down a Sat in orbit a few years back as I remember. Unsure how handy this would be for PAF

As I've stated previously, an ADS isn't necessarily a weapon, but an integrated C4I capability. Knowledge is more powerful than a gun.

The PAF actually gave a very brief glimpse during Swift Retort 2019 of what is in the works, e.g. the timing of the PAF air strike package coalescing and executing the operation to coincide with IAF activity, the identification, location, and avoidance of all known IAF/IA SAM systems, in particular the Spyder system which brought down the IAF Mi-17, the jamming of all known IAF operating frequencies, and the immediate response to any IAF aircraft crossing the LOC (Abhi's doomed Mig-21 and his quick capture). All these things didn't happen because of coincidence. The fact that the PAF planned and executed this response within 24 hours of the thwarted IAF strike should be further highlighted - this was one of many 'scenarios' the PAF trains for.

Thunder's CAP, 1 locking onto Fulcrum and others remaining on fore front to protect ground strike package. Blinders playing their role while SAT provides ground coverage. I mean, just a bit from the big happening in such an exercise.

Initially it was mentioned that apart from PAF both RSAF and USAF will participate with their aircraft but no American aircraft have yet been spotted.... the exercise was also said to last until 10 April but it has concluded today.
Why was this part of exercise designated ACES Meet 2021-1......are we yet to witness ACES Meet 2021-2.....which might involve USAF aircraft.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has successfully completed the multinational air exercise Aces Meet 2021-1 at PAF base Mushaf.

The two-week long exercise saw active participation from the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and the United States Air Force (USAF).
Addressing the participants involved in the exercise, PAF Base Mushaf air commodore Ali Naeem Zahoor said the exercise provided an opportunity to learn via ‘mutual sharing of experiences’.


ACES MEET 2021-1 included multiple missions across the airpower spectrum and offered near-realistic and role-oriented training to participating members even during the challenging situations due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Members of PAK, RSAF and USAF special forces performed several Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) missions during the exercise.

According to a statement posted on Radio Pakistan, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan air forces acted as observers for the drill.
The exercise included the employment of fighter jets from the air forces of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as airborne early warning and control aircraft and military satellites.
The deployed assets helped improve coordination and harmony between the ground elements and air component.

Perhaps the '-1' is alluding to it being held again this year, though this is just a guess on my part.
