This is nothing new. Linking Saudi to the plot dates back to the days when Abu Zubayda was apprehended by CIA. Soon after his confession where he spilled the names of three Saudi princes, they were found dead one by one in mysterious circumstances. Now.. this doesn't mean that the whole royal set up was involved.. but there is a reason to belive that some section may have had the knowledge beforehand. But due to the proximity between Saudi royal family & US admin, issues may not have recieved the kind of publicity it deserved..

Indeed a waste-of-time thread. So I'll waste some more time here:

All were from countries or communities that were American allies in the Region.

KSA (15) - chief ally goes without saying
UAE (2) - no less committed ally
Egypt (1) - at that time biggest ally by size
Lebanon (1) - from a wealthy sunni family, definitely a community considered staunch US allies.
