Now, what is the definition of corruption? Is it not a corruption of humongous scale when the entire country is considered as the personal property of a family? Is it not corruption when people don't have basic human rights in a country? I believe this is the worst kind of corruption and SA is the champion in this league.

I'm inclined to think political factors influence this index. Iran more corrupt than India? Russia more corrupt than India and China and as corrupt as African countries? Really?

It seems anybody who is a US adversary will come low at the index.

And I don't know why RayKalm has to single out these 4 countries among the rest. Barbaric Saudi culture of female oppression and hypocrisy is inherently corrupt and inhumane. Thus they are incomparable with civil countries like Turkey and Iran with radically different sets of moral values.

LOL. Well what do I do if you take truth as "bashing". And I did not go off topic, just discussed the index and RayKalm's comparisons in that light: why I do not think this index reflects truth.

As a Saudi, you don't consider the laws of your land as oppressing females ruthlessly. But everyone else with an iota of common sense considers so. What do I do if you don't have any common sense?

While corrupt runs high in the Saudi government - it is still done with a lot of fear and secrecy. The private sector is as transparent as it could get. Even tho Saudi government has only started to build anti-corruption institutions..the public morals of good ethic has largely kept corruption at bay....

I would say India, Pakistan and Iran are the most corrupt countries on globe.
