Saudi Arabia faces increasing terror threats

You have a population of just 30 million? The combined population of Delhi and Bombay is 40 million!

Wow! No wonder you keep strict immigration controls. South Asians would overwhelm the natives if allowed easy entry!

India has a population of almost 1.3 billion! Such numbers only China can compete with.

Anyway Arabs are the second biggest ethnic group in the world after the Han Chinese. Still there are 3 times as many Indians in the world as Arabs!

A population of about 40-50 million is perfect. Overpopulation is really a bad thing overall. KSA has a quickly growing population so those numbers would be reached in not a too distant future.

.
Accept some reality instead, a lot of you're own people are into this ideology more then any other Arab state, this is your own trash as well.

The chances are growing that other regional states will have to deal with terrorists attacks if the group isn't dealt with in the Middle Eastern region in the short term.

Are those my own words up there ? No, Those are words said by Saudis and government employees themselves.

Though keep telling us the opposite, we're all bind, all this is false.

What an absolute shame for him to do this. He was young, handsome. And his future was ahead of him. May God have mercy on his soul, and to those who died....

He died on the battlefield, mate.

It's not a shame. It's a shame when young Saudi Arabians (like other ME people) die in the hundreds in traffic accidents each year.

He knew the risks of going abroad to fight. In this life he cannot be judged as he is dead. The rest is for Allah (swt) to decide like with everyone else.

Just seeing his face -- he is probably around my age. About 28. The world needs more young, caring physicians like him, and less dead ones, thats all. I can only imagine what his parents and relatives are feeling. The loss of a young, promising son.

But you're right,...only God can decide. May He be merciful.

He'd still be a doctor if not for some religious people brainwashing him, some mosques are being used for creating this.

Yeah. Overpopulation is a massive problem.
Your TFR is 2.26 as of 2012. That means you are nearly at replacement level. Your population will not cross 50 million. Its quite good, ensures a high standard of living.

India is expected to peak at 1.6 billion at 2060 before it starts to decline. No idea how we will cope.

Mosques aren't allowed to go politics in KSA. Violators of such law get harsh punishment.

India would not have those colossal social and economic problems had you guys had a much smaller population. Think for a second about the resources such a giant population consumes and the difficulties on that part when most or hundreds of millions of them start to escape from the poverty line into the middle class. The world can simply not cope with such numbers with our current technology.

I think that it is closer to 3 than 2 actually. But a lot of it is disputed like with most statistics about KSA. A lot of nonsense is written on the internet regarding statistics and KSA I have noticed and very conflicting data too.

By 2020 the population is expected to reach 37.2 million.

Al-Eqtisadiah had estimated that the Kingdom’s population would reach 37.2 million by the year 2020 based on average annual growth rate over the last nine years.

By 2060 I read that the population would reach 80 million. Not sure how accurate this is. As long as it does not reach over 100 million I will not complain that much. Eventually it will start to fall like India. I think that India will peak population wise in a few decades and from then on the population will drop.
Also by 2060 I expect most countries on the Arabian Peninsula or at least a lot to have merged with KSA which would further make the population bigger.

Let's hope that because otherwise this planet will have a hard time cooping. It already has.

Mosques aren't allowed to go politics in KSA. Violators of such law get harsh punishment.

Foreigners don't understand it. They think it's like in Afghanistan, South Asia, many Arab and non-Arab states in the ME etc. KSA is a police state for good and bad on many fronts.

Good to see you back brother. Well and good.

You are right. It's a shame as nobody is born evil. He clearly must have been brainwashed. I was too harsh. It just baffles my mind here years after people have got to know those criminal gangs for what they are and for not what they claim to be.

No need to go politics to brainwash someone into something like that, as many documentaries show it most likely happens in secret.

People who get into this stuff are brainwashed by watching radical clerics on the internet and clips, joining forums, own false interpretation etc. Not by going to their local mosques. If this was the case you would have thousands upon thousands of people like him while in reality they can be counted in the hundreds only.

Clerics/ordinary citizens even alluding support for extremist groups are at danger of being arrested and questioned.

Such as his likes for instance:

The fact is that the regime has done a great job since the 9/11 on stomping down on those few radical and misguided clerics who once were shunned but allowed to voice their views as their talk never hurt anyone. That was before 9/11.

He might has relatives from Syria and Iraq as his surname suggests. Going abroad to fight is strictly prohibited and punished by law. The GIP is working effectively around the clock to ensure such thing is prevented.
