This Indian claim of 'Pharmacy of the world' is also fake and a hoax.

Almost all the patents to India was granted by big western pharma like Pfizer, Sanofi, GSK, to Johnson and Johnson after developing the drugs and initial production in their own country(western) for many years.

After few years and the requirement met, the cost of production in US, EU is 7-10 times higher than India so they cannot export these pharma to third world countries where a huge quantity is required.

So they gives the patent and intellectual property right to india as a co partner...with cost arbitration in India, and that west benevolence as pointed by Angela Merkel was the reason for India producing cheap generic drugs....they are all researched and developed in west.

And Germany exports are around 80 billion USD, Swiss and France at 60 billion USD...India is lower at around 16-18 billion USD.
