What's new

Saudi Arabia confirms that it will deploy troops to Syria

why are they looking to pick a fight they cant win, with Russia.

this is nuts.

.
They are bluffing, they can't be this stupid.

You will see !

Actually they are that Stupid.

With the reversal of fortunes in and around Aleppo, among other fronts, diplomats have been pushing for an immediate ceasefire and opening of humanitarian corridors to every city/town/village/ refugee camp.

Just because the Saudis will deploy 50 operators, doesn't mean it'll make a difference. Americans have spent years and months training Iraqis and Moderate Syrians. 50 Additional operators wouldn't make a difference. Neither will Putin allow them to cross him.

.
Hmm...17 Powers agree to ceasefire and Saudis agree to push troops into Syria...for all the truth....this is going to be a formal Saudi invasion of Syria...and eventually Saudis and NATO coalition will decide the fate of future Syria..:partay:
...

No really, it's strange ? However Russia was spirited win in Syria (End To Aleppo - certainly -). :partay:

On topic: sending troops in another Arab country without their permission is called invasion, and we all know that happens to the invaders. take an example of USSR, although she send its forces with the permission of Afghan Govt. but internationally it was called invasion. and the plus point for the west was the USSR strictly prohibit her citizens to do this and don't do this. and west attack on that point by showing their open societies...
KSA is not a capitalist and nor a democracy to manipulate her citizens like every democratic country do(like blaming former govt. for taking bad decision)...
attacking another Arab country to bring democracy there will also rise questions in your own country about democracy and right...

NOTE: Don't trust West they will betray you and will also bring democracy in your country..

Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on Thursday led the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia taking part in the meeting of the international coalition countries to counter , at the headquarters of NATO in the Belgian capital Brussels.

At the end of the meeting, a joint statement was issued as follows:
This statement was released by the defense ministers of Belgium, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States following a Counter-ISIL Defense Ministerial meeting hosted by the United States in Brussels.
They were joined by senior representatives from the three countries who provide or intend to provide forces or other support to the campaign, Australia, the Czech Republic and Singapore.
Today in Brussels, U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter hosted a meeting of Defense Ministers from countries contributing troops to the Global Coalition to Counter-ISIL/Da'esh to discuss the military campaign plan, to take stock of recent efforts to accelerate the counter-ISIL/Da'esh operation in Iraq and Syria, to consider a shared approach against ISIL/Da'esh's global ambitions, and to ensure the protection of our citizens.
We paid tribute to the efforts of all Iraqi Security Forces, including the Peshmerga and Sunni tribal forces, and moderate Syrian opposition who are fighting ISIL/Da'esh and have caused numerous tactical defeats of ISIL/Da'esh in recent months, and we acknowledged the Coalition Force Commander's assessment that these successes mark the transition of the Counter-ISIL/Da'esh campaign.
However, we also acknowledged that significant work remains to be done to ensure the lasting defeat of ISIL/Da'esh and the restoration of stability in Iraq and Syria. We called on those states playing a counterproductive role in the fight against ISIL/Da'esh and the Syrian peace process to play a more constructive role.

Saudis set an example and we should follow suit..in Pakistan...you always fail to mention that it were four Shia clerics not one but you keep remembering the only one because he was your agent...and the remaining 43 Sunnis out of total 47 Many of whom convicted of terror attacks on Shia...you always forget to mention that as well..

KSA is not a capitalist and nor a democracy to manipulate her citizens like every democratic country do(like blaming former govt. for taking bad decision)..
