RAWALPINDI - The contingents of Saudi Arabia, China and Turkish Military would be participating in the Pakistan Day parade on March 23.

Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Wednesday that Pakistan is synonymous to peace and shall be safeguarded at any cost.

In a message on Twitter regarding the upcoming Pakistan Day on March 23, the Inter Services Public Relations Director shared a video and stated that the nation is preparing to celebrate the 78th Pakistan Day.

Pakistan Day commemorates the passing of Lahore Resolution, under which a separate nation for the Muslims of the British Indian empire demanded by Muslim League was passed on March 23, 1940.

Every year the nation celebrates the day with extraordinary zeal.

The armed forces of the country also hold a parade in Islamabad to mark the occasion.

A special feature of last year's parade was the participation of the People's Liberation Army of China, Saudi Special Force contingentand Turkish Janissary Military band.

KSA is not a neighbour. Iran is.

Also the poisoning of (Sunni)Islam in Pakistan comes from this country's ideology and may I remind you that most of Pakistan is Sunni. So whilst Iran has played dirty with Shia(Islam) in Pakistan, but because they are a lesser percentage of Pakistan's population it has less of a negative effect.

Also Iran has not committed treason against the Ummah by plunging a dagger into the heartland of Islam like KSA has...(but maybe they want to..????)

Don't get me wrong, Iran is no friend but IMHO KSA is worse, however as Iran is a neighbour Pakistan ought to concentrate her efforts on Iran more
