At some point we have to learn and say wait a minute, they did all this
I agree. However, we have over 4 million (I think) expats in Saudi Arabia who are a lifeline to our economy (remittances); this is so big that we just cannot ignore this. This is the chip that they hang over our heads........their defense at any cost, to which we are committed, should be the chip that we can hang.
And we need to start local industries based on the Chinese model so that we not only are able to accommodate expats, should the need arise, but also offset the remittance loss.
