Good points. If air power was the key to winning then the US would have won Afghanistan long ago. There is only so much you can do from the air before you need to rely on your army.

KSA should have sent in troops long ago. At this point the houthis are very well entrenched and it will be next to impossible to dislodge them even with a ground invasion. The saudis are in a huge predicament.

The result of that was a bloody humilation for the sauds. hundreds of them were slaughtered like animals. and they ran back and declared a "unilateral ceasefire"... never again would saudi troops dare to directly engage or thrust into yemeni territory. they liteally cannot hold their ground on their border force.

they are absolute cowards. a paper army. The officers are promoted because of family connections. the soldiers are treated like absolute slaves. With no room for advancement based on merit. ambitious officers would get demoted for making their incomeptent bosses look bad. who the hell is going to fight or have any morale in these circumstances?
