Saudi Arab to spend $100bn on 16 nuclear plants !!!!!

As long as power plants are safe (unlike Japanese ones), Saudis can build as many plants as they want. They have to arrange waste disposal too, its very expensive.

.
Best of Luck Saudis and I am very much sure that due to absence of Saudi Medha Patkars, KSA nuclear plant will be commissioned much before Indian ones.

they do have a vast area of dessert, cant they burry them deep down there?

and Mosa, you know where they'll be built. close to coast's i think, but dont know.

A long cherished desire of the Saudi princes to own nukes. For the moment the vendors who will supply the US$100 bn eqpt would be thrilled. Later Mossad or Iranians may take these out. WCC gaining all over!!

This is over 5-6 months old news and believe me, I was so shocked to see this news that the news paper fell from my hands!
No they cannot do it. They won't make 16 reactors any soon. May work on 7-8 within a decade.

.
Good for americans. Saudi can export more fossil fuel to world.

.
Ha, where are all the talks of isolating and bankrupting US?? Arab dictatorships cannot survive without US support and when ever they whine like a spoiled teenager, US will come to rescue with a lollipop!

.
So what if they make 19 nuclear plants, UAE is building 4 plants at a cost of 20 billion, so comparing the population and needs of electricity in KSA let them build 19 plants, they know their future needs and atleast they are planning for the future needs unlike in Pakistan where we cannot even fulfill the daily need for electricity in the country let alone plan well in ahead for future.

Pakistanis plan for future when it is too late and IF the project is completed it does not fulfill the need of the time when it is completed in, and it goes on like this.

If saudis are out their creating jobs for American, then it's their business strategy, no one has right to criticize such thing especially a person who has Pak-US flags waiving under his post count.

And we already have a sufficient number of nuclear scientists. For example a Saudi nuclear scientists has invented and drew blue prints of what he calls "Invincible Nuclear plants" this news was in Arabic and how he got the patent for it but nothing is written about it in English he built nuclear reactors that can withstand earthquakes volcanoes missiles.

. .
lmao "invincible nuclear plants", Mossa sometimes I think you've created your own universe. The only contributions Saudi Arabia makes to world knowledge are new fatwas from your religious institutions.

.
well good for Saudia though some kind JV with Pakistan would have been much better but its their money.

I herd we are working with Israel to deploy Pakistani missiles in Tel Aviv right after we put the man on the moon oh while our Mullhas were transported to India for Nuclear tests by Indians and i am willing to bet those will happen before any Arab nation will do any thing that can benefit Pakistan Ever:cheesy:.
