Just a few points since this topic is like a bloody broken record:

1. If Sarabjit was involved in killing innocent Pakistanis, he deserved the death penalty...
Though it didnt serve Pakistan too well as he was bludgeoned to death...a state execution would at least send a message to other terrorists and foreign spy agencies...instead it ended up with tit-for tat killings and put other Pakistani prisoners in danger.

2. Even though he has been claimed a spy by "unknown" intelligence officials, unless the govt of india goes on record declaring him a spy, it is simply "news" and not credible to say the least
if Pakistanis claim he was a spy based on anonymous information, we also have to take the instance of Pakistani involvement in state terrorism coming from similar sources seriously.

Additionally, the source claims that he went on a mission to Pakistan and was caught on the way back..NOWHERE does it state that the mission involved bombings.

3.whether he was innocent or not (in the case of bombings), he was a spy caught on foreign soil as claimed by Pakistanis...we as Indians cannot claim his innocence since very little information is officially revealed..
If we as indians declare many pakistanis caught on our soil as spies (whether the case maybe strong or not) we have to accept that our nationals will face similar consequences. its just part of the game!

PS: In the end we only hope that justice prevails...whether it has or hope it does in the future.

26/11 was an extremely public case with a lot of information available freely though media....

How much do you even know about the Sarabjit case? Like I said, please provide any information that proves Sarabjit was involved in the bombing or that he was working on directives from the GOI before declaring him a terrorist....a spy does not equal terrorist! and even before that....the GOI has not even accepted him as a spy!

Once you have this, we can do a comparison of the two cases and I will be more than happy to discuss...of course to keep the sanctity of the this thread, would be great to open a new thread for this.

Even after all that it may only prove he was a non state actor and if Pakistani government provides us watertight court admissible evidence we will investigate at our end.
