A powerful community leader said, "In this entire episode, no one is victorious; but some credit should go to Shoaib Malik for not revealing the photograph of that unknown Hyderabadi Muslim girl, which was, allegedly, shown to him by Ayesha Siddiqui."

Shoaib had said that when the 'telephonic romance' began some eight years ago between him and 'some Hyderabadi girl,' he was shown a photograph. He fell in love with 'that photograph' which he thought was of Siddiqui.

For many years he was under the impression that he was talking to 'amazingly beautiful Hyderabadi girl' shown in the photograph and he got engaged in 'telephonic nikah,' only to the 'pretty woman' shown in that photograph.

The Hyderabad-based political leader told rediff.com that, "I have seen the girl and she is unbelievably beautiful. She is now happily married and doesn't want to come into the limelight. Don't ask me more questions about her. Leave her alone."

He adds, "One should be thankful to Shoaib that even in such huge crisis, he has not revealed her picture to the media."

Haq Mehr is given at the time of the marriage not after the marriage. The only thing about Haq Mehr is that it should be given at the time of marriage and never taken back.

No Haq Mehr can be given anytime. Some people give Haq Mahr at the time of a marriage and some peoples give after many years and some womens forgive this haq mahr to their husbands after spending years with him.

Haq Mahr should be given to the wife but it is not manadatory to pay him during the marriage or when being divorced. Haq Mahr can be paid any day any time any year of their marriage (as far as i know)

For example there is no limit for Haq Mahr, One poor person set haq mahr like 100 rupees and give it to his wife on the marriage and one rich man set like 1 million dollars for his wife but he does not have in cash so it will be written down as 1 million dollars in Nikahnama. Now if the man divorces his wife her wife can claim that money straight away and it is manadatory to pay to his wife or when say after 4 years the man has that much money he can pay to his wife. There is no timeline for Haq mahr but it is very important to pay so usually the man pays before he dies

In a shocking admission, a family friend of the Maliks -- Ameen Shaikh told TIMES NOW on Wednesday (April 7) that the photo he had seen was indeed that of Ayesha Siddiqui, who claims to have married the Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2002.

This revelation comes as Shoaib & Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza had put up a united front, standing firm that Ayesha Siddiqui's claims of being married to Shoaib is false.

However, Ameen Shaikh has admitted that the photo that was shown to him was that of Ayesha Siddiqui, but just a thinner version of her. He added that Ayesha was telling the truth.

He said, "I'm fairly sure, the girl was of Shoaib's choice. Shoaib & Ayesha Siddiqui had been friends from Dubai. His father had told me of their friendship several times. I'm saddened by all the things that are happening to Ayesha Siddiqui. Now I've heard that he is to be wed to a tennis player. I don't understand what is happening."

"Shoaib's father told me that the nikah with Ayesha Siddqui was done, just the rukhsat was left. And he even asked me that to join in the celebrations, because I'm family. Ayesha is telling the truth that she is married to him. His father told me they were married. I've seen her photo also, his father showed me the photo. I know it's the same girl. When I saw her on TV, the only difference was that she was thinner before," added Ameen.
