Chinese economy is built on low tech manufacturing. Laptops(except processor chips), Washing Machines, Microwaves etc aren't exactly hard to manufacture, it's just that China manufactures them in the most efficient way possible. As for high tech products, China has pretty much doomed itself by picking up fights with the West, Australia, Japan, South East Asia and India. No high tech Chinese high tech product will be allowed inside all these countries due to security concerns, which pretty much leaves Africa and some countries like Pakistan with limited purchasing power. The whole Huawei 5g thing is the first example, but definitely not the last. Chinese tech companies like Bytedance will simply not be allowed to expand. I guess it's only fair. For decades, China has prevented companies like google from operating in China under the guise of censorship. Chinese tech companies are now going to face the same thing under the guise of privacy and security.
