I have an HTC M7, but a bit disappointed with the M9. M8 was great, but M9 is just a poor rehash of the previous model and doesn't do justice really. Not something I would pay money to buy for when I already have an M7/M8.

Performance wise it may be a big leap, but the exterior does lack IMO.

Samsung, well what can I say...it's Samsung. Something just doesn't endear me to them. Always seem like cheap plastic models with no quality or class. The edge screen seems a bit practical with that alarm thingy and those colors etc...but nothing I would go ouot of my way for.

I think you did not read first post. S6 is metal body as samsung gave up its plastic look which we saw in previous galaxy series

There was not much improvement from M7 to M8 but there are some improvement in M9 as snapdragon 810 is faster and main 20MP camera is great which was very disappointed in M8..dolby sound was added in boom speaker, gpu is better, RAM got upgraded to 3GB in M9

Regarding the Galaxy s6.. A lot of people (even a lot of Samsung fans) in some of the tech forums I frequent are not happy because it won't have an sd card slot and removable battery. Some of them are acting like they just lost mothers milk.

S6 have got SD card support and no others brand is offfering removable battery..some people prefer premium look over plastic replaceable back cover..

What actually missing is IP67 water dust proof thing which was there in S5

Not according to the multiple articles I've read including this one which plainly states

"The S6 and S6 Edge lack a removable battery and a microSD card slot"

I personally dont mind plastic because its easy to replace and dont make phone heavier but samsung recently made many phones with premium look by giving up removable battery option ..look at galaxy Alpha, galaxy a3 and A5 and now this s6..

Best thing about samsung was their camera ..s4 and s5 had best still and video camera compare to others competitors i.e sony/htc/motorola..the only exception was nokia lumia 1020

Quite a few are basically saying the same thing. They were really looking forward to the s6 release and are now extremely disappointed in Samsung. I'm hoping they don't do the same thing with the Note line of phones. It's a nice looking phone though..

just got a news that Samsung is using Sony cameras for Galaxy s6 and Note 4...the same vendor who supplies sensors and chips to the Israelis for their bombs...m not gonna buy Samsung Galaxy S6 or Samsung Note 4 as I don't buy any product of Sony...
I cant post a link for the evidence but its on you tube and presstv report that says that Sony is supplying hardware to Israel

Finally a good looking Samsung. I wonder if they fix earphones loudness issue too. I simply can't use any Samsung for music play because its not loud enough. These are best phones for music play:

1) Meizu MX4
2) Iphone
3) HTC

All others I tried simply suck (Samsung, LG, Nexus...)

Finally a good looking Samsung. I wonder if they fix earphones loudness issue too. I simply can't use any Samsung for music play because its not loud enough. These are best phones for music play:

No loudness issues for me. I can't speak for all Samsung models, but my previous GS3 and my current Note 4 reach decent volume levels with earbuds. Now if I'm using quality over the ear headphones, I will always use my Note 4 with a portable AMP/DAC.

Do you use high impedance headphones?
