Bravia engine is just a preset. Similar to the marketing thing Htc does with beats (Eq presets). Bravia or beats, both can be installed on almost any phone. Thanks to the developers who ported them.

dude sony owns bravia.......htc does not own beats....sony is not marketing they are using what they have given birth to....

u think changing the screen will make it have a bravia engine??? or using beats headphones will make it have beats??? are you out of ur mind ???........u need chips for them !!!!! the whole circuit board needs change !!!!!

Xperia Z uses adreno 320 gpu.

And yes you would be installing Bravia engine on your phone. Search google for more info or head over to Xda developers to understand what bravia engines do.

I said Beats system can be installed on any phone. Beats is nothing more than EQ presets.

both of them are just profiles , if you go to "XDA Developers" you see how many of the feature that companies advertise can be installed on many other phones , the only drawback is you must root your phone and as the result loose your guaranty

People see no difference in the picture quality when they turn off the bravia engine.

For beats. Why not use some good Eq yourself?

Beats is quite good, I know its just a preset but however tuned the equalizer got it right somehow.

I wish Samsung abandons its cheap plastic back covers... Otherwise it makes the most solid phones.

The HTC One is a beauty plus its close in all regards to the S4.

If you're not too big on the 13MP camera, fast processor, big Full HD screen... Go with the One because of the beauty of the design.

Wait a few more months and you'll have a similar designed to make between the Note3 and the HTC T6

HTC and samsung use the same processor only s4 is slightly over clocked. Both are full hd. 13 megampixel camera is overkill, good luck trying to upload huge 5mb pics on Facebook which will be viewed on at best full hd screens.

I don't know if he has tempered the pictures but the benchmark is not real to be sure. HTC can't score lower than xperia z because of its updated processor.

Although benchmark means zilch.

I think the camera issue is with the version of firmware you are using, it's fixed with updated software.
