May you Rest in peace sir we are ashamed your murderer is still alive and his financiers ,supporters are enjoying freedom whereas your family has paid the heaviest price for supporting the oppressed.

The notorious medieval draconian blasphemy law was introduced in the constitution by the law makers of their time. It can also be taken out from the constitution by the law makers if they want. Instead of useless and cheap photo sessions with Asia and other victims, Taseer should have asked his party to fix the law but why would he? Cheap photo sessions were more than enough for him and others like him. Stood up for oppressed my foot.

The only thing a politician can do is stand and speak up against tyranny ... register his protest! these were his indivisual views not his party's policy therefore he could do little to change those stone age sharia laws .. appreciate that at least he stood up .. no one is pakistan has the gutts to stand up against mullahs be it the holy army , or the politicians and civil society .. except very few individuals !! This Civil war needs expansion to becoming more and more of a "solution", just bombing FATA is not the solution and those poor people do not deserve to be the only ones facing death. Blasphemy law will remain part of Pakistani law for a long long time. Only a through investigations needs to be done to prove that there was a honest mistake and it was not intended and the proof be presented in Shariat court. The blasphemies of Qadianism resulted in creating this law. The Qadianis are vandalizing all Islam and Pakistan related pages in Wikipedia by including their beliefs as true Islamic beliefs. I'm not saying there are no terrorists, but hey, Karachi is a city of 20 million plus people. You've lived there, tell me how would one do an accurate consensus in an area like Liyari, Landhi, Sohrab Goth etc? So yes there are terrorists, but if the Rangers say that there are 5000 of them, then they also probably know where they live and how they work. The task then should be to catch them one after the other or eliminate them. These terrorists and their living is no different to the mafia/gang culture.
