Superstar Salman Khan got a jolt ,by the decision taken by the Mumbai session court on his appeal that had challenged the Bandra Magistrate Court order for a retrial of his 2002 hit and run case, with stringent charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder under section 304(II). Khan’s lawyer had pleaded that the magistrate had not taken into account the defense witnesses.


Judge UB Hejib maintained that the courts order is right ,judge Hejib observed, “I find myself unable to subscribe with the submissions advanced by the defense lawyers that the learned magistrate has come to a wrong conclusion; the defense has not taken into account the cross-examination of prosecution’s witness his police bodyguard too had warned Salman to drive slowly.Judge Hejib therefore dismissed Khan’s plea.

Under this if proven in the court of law , Khan will face ten years of imprisonment for killing one and injuring four others who were sleeping on the pavement.
