(ISLAMABAD) - Journalist William Gomes has claimed in a Tweet and email to Sajeeb Wazed Joy, Bangladesh Prime minister, (Sheikh Hasina’s son) that Joy has an account in Swiss bank worth $30 bln USD. Gomes has alerted the media that Joy will remain silent.
In that email, Gomes has asked Joy to return the money which he and his mother Hasina has allegedly looted from the people of Bangladesh.
William Gomes said “You will remain silent Because you are 'Chor' (thief) no you are 'Dakat' (dacoit). Like mother like son. The same can be said for your mother, like father like daughter.”
Gomes also said, “You and your family are root and reason for the ongoing crisis.”
Gomes said Freedom is a dream for Bangladeshi people. Most of the media became the PR agency of the ruling party and the listed few who were vocal against the fascist regime have been successfully silenced by the ruling government.
Gomes asked Joy, "You better call yourself the Prince of Bangladesh. And lets change the name of Bangladesh to Banana republic or what about 'Mamma Republic?'”
William gomes said that Prime minister Hasina is the mastermind behind the killings of innocent Hefazat Islam protesters.

Washington based Global Financial Integrity reports in last five years of Awami League rule close to $13 billion siphon off from Bangladesh, mostly by ruling party leaders and elites. Awami league leaders have been busy buying home and asset overseas with their looted money. In 2012 alone more than $3 billion shiponed off from Bangladesh, that is 28% more than year 2011. Most of these money laundered are from stock market and bank looting. From public owned Sonali Bank alone Awami League looted more than billion dollars. And it need to be noted, Awami League finance minister stated that looting amount is not a big deal.
