Every investments are welcomed but only after our national interest is well preserved.Right now we don't need FDIs to build new cities as there are already so many projects of Satellite towns,Model towns going on all over the country by local companies,heck even my home district is going to have two model towns.Building new cities is not the priority but they are most welcome to invest in infrastructure development,medium-heavy industries.

Literally you are right. But those are tiny economy and despite Afhganistan posted 20% growth rate yet China is considered the fastest growing economy in the world all along. Its not only % terms but the volume of economic improvement counts.

Maybe ignorant article writers for newspapers apply those labels, but the fastest growing economy would refer to the economy with the highest % growth in GDP. India was never ranked second in the world in this category in the recent, modern recorded history of national accounts (ever since such accounts have been tallied).
