But hear the speech carefully and you realise that Togadia has been clever while Owaisi was plain stupid. He uses unparliamentary language for Owaisi but without taking his name. As far as the references to the riots are concerned, Togadia will take recourse to the excuse that he was merely quoting facts while Owaisi was issuing a threat. In his speech, Togadia issues a veiled threat couching it in praise of the sword-wielding Goddess Durga. Owaisi in contrast spoke of Hindu Gods and Goddesses in an offensive manner.

While Owaisi is a clown with half a brain cell, Togadia is a clever fox. He's beaten Owaisi hands down the way he's adroitly camouflaged his hate speech without naming names! Owaisi on the other hand has waffled his way through like a tyro. He should now join Togadia's coaching classes on how to make hate speeches!

Then they both should be strung and hung by their balls and sprayed with red chilli powder on their behinds! Now that should shut them up for a while. Repeat the dose if required.

Of course, Togadia is much smarter than is Owaisi, no wonder he is more powerful too. He certainly weighed the legality as well as repercussions of his words before letting them out, so no, he will not be going be to jail.

The fact is, both of them, Owaisi and Togadia, want nothing but power and do not care a bit about their respective religions.

With a clean shaved beard and a free flowing mustache, the likes of Togadia and Bhagawat try to come out as something reminiscing Bal Gangadhar Tilak who was more of a social reformer than some sort of "Hinduist".

Had these pseudo soldiers of Hinduism been even a little sincere about the religion they are using for power, they would have known that by using Bajrang Dal as a weapon they are spreading more of Abrahmic culture than a Hindu one.

Violence against other religions, discrimination against the fairer sex, punishing the public for their show of passion, and advocating for a "Hindu Rashtra" are the things that were never part of the Hindu/Indian culture before the advent of Islam in India - if indeed the Hindu culture is what they really want to promote.

Unless the rest of India, its Hindus and Muslims, and the Court, raises its voice against such harmful stupidities of Togadia and Owaisi, and unless the government works against them as smartly as did Narsimha Rao after the Babari Mosque fiasco, these people may end up dividing entire India and the Hindus all over the world.

Unless stopped, they may soon bring Hinduism down to be compared with the Taliban.

Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Praveen Togadia on Tuesday avoided queries on his alleged hate rant even as it led to a massive outrage.

When Headlines Today tried to speak to him about his "venomous speech", he initially refused to comment, but later insisted that he had done nothing wrong.

Togadia said that he did not name any particular community or threatened violence and that he was just alluding to instances from the past.
