Should we even care about what Afghans think regarding Pakistan? I don't understand why the Pakistanis should give a rats *** about what anyone thinks. Has anyone ever asked how Pakistanis feel when US, NATO and India were promoting terrorism in Pakistan at the height of the WoT?

Realpolitik is all that matters. Pakistan will do whatever required to reach its goals. That should be the end of story.

The Kabuli elites were flown in by US/NATO from Western capitals to assist India. Most of the political elite did not even live in Afghanistan.

not really...americans have a big gun culture and albeit there is gun violence, not even close to what afghans suffer. it's about the lack of economic opportunity.

This time if the attempt of Taliban to completely takeover Afghanistan is failed then the breakup of Afghanistan as State is possible.

Afghanistan is destabilize because Global and Regional politics which forced it to remain a single Single State but NOT A UNIFIED STATE on social and political grounds.

If the Talibaan takeover is inevitable then perhaps it is time we convinced the US, and the World, to assist in the inevitable so that it happens not only very very quickly but also to ensure that later on there's only the Talibaan who represent Afghanistan.......and maybe they also be convinced to hold elections in 2-5 years after a period of stability is established.
