What's new

Sad state of affairs!

I am still astonished... how can an educated person deny treatment to a patient.. or how can he/ she remove an oxygen mask from a patient in ICU?

Yaar humain tou kuttay billi ke bachay ko bhi khhana daalnay ko bola jata tha bachpan main.. these were innocent humans, on top of that they were patients.. not ordinary men with full strength who could run away from the scene.. They most likely had IV apparatus inserted in their veins.. how can someone just pull these needles off without mercy?

What have we become? Animals? I have seen videos of animals who try to save the lives of other animals, and some times, of humans too..

How can a doctor sit in his room and refuse to treat patients because he is on a strike, while patients are desperately waiting for help? I am not a doctor, but if I see someone losing his life, I will definitely do anything in my control.. I have to give my life to my Lord..

Is there some problem in the rivers that provide water to Pakistan? Or we are being fed with the meat of wild hunting animals instead of cattle that we are adopting the qualities of predators?

And what kind of people sit still and watch their loved ones losing lives in front of their eyes and do nothing? How many lawyers were there? 1000? If our people had the courage, they would have killed these mofos on the spot.. forget police or government.. they are as useless as the previous governments... but are we that much coward that we have no courage to raise our voice or take an action ourselves?

I am extremely disappointed today.. I thought PTI government would be different, but its not.. It also takes "notice" when the time requires an "action". In Sindh, these waderas are on a rampage and in Punjab, these doctors and lawyers are out of control.. there is no value of life of a common man in Pakistan..

The situation leads me to think, whether I should be coming back to Pakistan ever.. I don't think so.. Do I need my children to suffer in this country at the hands of waderas or lawyers or doctors? No I don't..

I congratulate those who have already taken refuge in the civilized world.. and appreciate those who are in the process....

There are two types of animals living in this country.. (1) Predators and (2) Cattle... without a good political or security forces' connection, we are like cattle who can be a pray of a predator anytime.. This is not the place where we should be seeing our kids living their lives..

Sad state of affairs..

People looted the bananas of a street vendor kid who might be the sole earner for his family during qadri asshole protests.

Do you think we have humans living in our country? We have animals who think and behave like animals and yet roam around in the skin of men, and wait for a chance to let out their animal self.

I am yet to understand why there was no police on the scene and why no one killed all of these bastards.
Just scared of these lawyer groups our governments are. They can only talk big and sell dreams to get votes.

Bro, your sentiments are exactly like mine. Animals is the first word that came to my mind seeing these goons.

I don't know about lawyers but i personally know and have witnessed what kind of monsters doctors in Pakistan are. So, it's not surprising that they let patients die without blinking an eye.

But the actual problem is lack of justice. That's it. There won't be any lawyer mafia, doctors mafia, land mafia, whatever mafia if there was justice in Pakistan. It's the law of the jungle and might is right.

It's not too late. If these lawyers get punished properly then nothing of this sort will happen again in future. The question is will they?

{No idea why but OP reminded me a lot of book called Raja Gidh by Bano Qudsia.}

What just happened, to be honest, is nothing surprising. Our society has failed again and again and we all have witnessed it in one form or another:
- 12th May incident.
- Baldia town factory
- 3 days of Benazir's assasination and what happened
- Model town
- Sialkot incident of 2 brothers beaten to death
- People beating donkey due to political differences.
- Guy shooting dog due to some poltical difference.
- Lal masjid
- Bori band lashain
- Attitude of doctors in public hospitals and sometimes even private.
- Attitude of police and bureaucracy
- How people behave during weddings at the time of eating

There is no hope.

May be, somebody should compile a easy to read/understand booklet on basic Ethics for us uncivilized people.

I don't think anything short of civil war and huge blood letting will fix this country. At this point I am even ready to throw my hat in behind religious idiots, maybe we need an ayatollah? That way we would replace the current elite with another type of elite. After 40-50 years of suffering under them, surely the people would rise to crush them too?

In reality though, we just need to be patient. FIR's have been registered, we need to see what happens. If nothing happens we should protest outside the homes of MNA's, judges, outside parliament, outside GHQ. Let those in power know that we will not let them white wash attrocities.

This is supposed to be the job of the opposition and civil society. We have no political opposition, just crooks, and we have no civil society, just traitors.

I know 1 way this could have been avoided.

If the people of this country followed the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). If every relative of the patients in the hospital who was present at the hospital during the riots was was armed with a licensed pistol, nobody would have dared to have attacked their relatives. How much courage would a mob have to march at you after 2-3 of it's members were shot dead by you firing at them?

This girl who's mask was removed, she had 6 brothers. Ask the brothers present, would they rather be dead today, knowing they killed many people who tried to attack their sister, or would they be alive in the state they are, with video recordings of their sister being killed by thugs, hoping the courts made of the very same thugs give them justice?

I know i'd prefer to go down all guns blazing. Pakistan is an uncivil society, we need to protect ourselves and our loved ones at all costs.

I think its time to migrate..

This is exactly what I am suggesting now.. to take the lawyers out of their comforting homes and kill them.. specially the ones who are clearly seen removing the oxygen masks..

As long as state is scared of thugs in black suite then this will keep happening. Now is right time to teach all those who participated in ghunda gardi to get jail sentence. Public opinion is already against them but state will have to show some courage.

Court does not run on public.opinion otherwise things would be different today

Basically this is a case study of how a country would be when there's no meaningful governance in a period of at least 50 years. In this period it has only produced kleptocratic rulers, a real estate military, and an incompetent & inefficient bureaucracy. This has caused a gradual decline on all fronts and one may wonder if we have reached a point of no return.

.
You know what's different between APS/ Quetta incidents and yesterday? We knew we were fighting against a cunning enemy. That enemy openly declared war on Pakistan. They were like Indian forces to me, who I know will not hesitate to attack hospitals, mosques or schools in Pakistan and we are ready if that happens. Yesterday didn't even have any resemblance with Baldia factory massacre, because there the enemy couldn't dare to openly accept the crime.

Yesterday's incident involves two highly educated segments of our society. One segment takes oath on saving lives in even a worst environment, and another segment preaches to uphold the law always. And they are accepting their crimes openly. There's no regard for human life. They are us.. common people.. I am just thinking, if I was a lawyer and took part in a protest, would I have allowed anyone pulling the oxygen supply knowing that the patient has no link to what was happening there? Or if any of us would be a doctor, would we have denied treatment to the patients just because there was a call if strike?

These are common people from among us who have done so much hardwork in their lives to become doctors or lawyers. And then the I had high hopes from PTI government, but sadly nothing has changed. Then had an expectation from common people, although very little, that they would resist, but they didn't. These are the reasons why I am extremely disappointed..

bullseye.

what’s even worse is senior lawyers are defending this incident on tv...

I think its time to migrate..

Do you stop eating because the food you eat later produces poop? No, You just shit it out and flush it. Maybe its time to flush these shit from our society.

Yes yes.

We need to understand, every little bit of bullcrap behaviour contributes to this vortex.

Certainly the thought of lawyers pulling oxygen masks off sick patients is something satanic! But every little grain of indecency, arrogance, corruption and nepotism has actually contributed to such a diseased state.

Some are using this forum to spread negativity.. Specially those who are sitting in west, we really don't know who they are..

Some of them are required to be banned permanently to be honest..

Ironic
