AFP Videos•July 15, 2016

An angry mob of protestors threw eggs and water bottles at South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-Ahn, calling for the retraction of a decision to deploy a US anti-missile defence system in their home town.

Nobody likes having a bullseye painted on them and not to mention having US military savages stationed by them.

I think most occupied East-Asian countries like South Korea and Japan, it's only the Governments that want US presence, so they can stay in power. I think majority of the public despise US presence in their countries and the humiliation that goes with it. East-Asian public need to rise up and boot out all Western occupiers. Let East-Asia be run by East-Asians alone.

. . .
Thier country, they want THAAD, why are Chinese agents interfering in S Korea? It's purely defensive cover against China's vassal state of N Korea. Won't matter- THAAD is going in and can only be stopped by S korea.

. .
This proves it that USA doesn't enjoy popular support even in it's so-called allied states. What USA does is court the governments and keeps them in control. Japan, Philippines and South Korea are the glaring examples of US's most important allies in Asia Pacific and even there US policies and it's military enjoys absolute contempt in the eyes of the wider populace.

.
This THAAD is the real threat to China, not that distraction in the SCS.

While the SCS nonsense was going on, the US agreed on the THAAD deployment in South Korea.

China got tricked!

Dear Beidou, you see this is how the game is played.

For more than 200 years now...every major has did its best to keep china down. Remember the century of humiliation?

You see China is the only country in Asia, Africa and South America which has the potential to challenge the global order of last 500 years.

Hence, since the WW2 the two super powers have tried their best to keep China down and backwards.

The real sad thing is that most Asian countries have collaborated with these powers to keep China down/contained.

So is there surprise that SK gov has allowed itself to be used again?

The question is for how long?

Some times it seems that Asians don't want to have an Asian century. Sad!

One way China can send a lesson to SK is to hurt them economically. Time to reduce SK import and reverse the trade deficit with them. But China policy makers have always been reactive instead of proactive.

Dear Jlaw, you see neither Japan nor SK are free countries... they have to act according to the orders of their master.

What China needs to do is to work with people in these countries who want to be free of foreign occupation.

But China does not interfer into other countries' internal affairs. A great philosophy but does not always work.

It is time for China to think in long terms and start strategic changes within its policies..

Don't forget that in the South Asia you have a country more eager to harm China than these two countries.

No one in Japan or SK can deny that China was the fountain head of their language and culture.

There are many many people in these two countries who would like to have a closer relationship with China.

That is the flaw of China's emperors for centuries. Not going to change anytime.

Tao of Non-actions is many times stronger that agressive Actions.

Chinese are not an expansitionist people. They are family people and want to live in peace and harmony.
For peace and harmony under the heavens strength and justice are the key.

Let us hope that NE Asia once again joins in peace and development and Confusian can grow again.

Than the cycle will repeat again.
