Doesn't hurt to put a low cost ATGM on a 12 hour endurance UAV. Gives us quite an edge in asymmetric warfare in terrains that are remote.

No, but think about it's role in Naval surveillance, and thwarting illicit naval activities in our territorial water. And equate the cost advantage of 2 guys, sitting in a AC room, operating a low cost armed drone with 12 hour endurance, can carry on surveillance on a stretch of 240-300 km.

It's always better to have options, isn't? Be in the vast stretch of oceans, or terrorists hiding in bunkers in forests.

Yes I am natural troller. Btw, The Rustom design was freezed way back in 2006, and first flight was in 2010. So, may be that possible ISI did a "chori" and make the Buraq operational before Rustom ?
