No one's buying it.
Bangladesh is planning to acquire 24 Yakovlev Yak-130 advanced jet trainer aircraft as part of a $1bn credit granted by Russia
1 billion dollars for 24 trainers and some associated weapons they may impart just so that the yaks can be used as last ditch fighters? Oh well..not very smart.
really? that is what you get ? 24 trainers are part of total 1 billion dollars deal, read it again... again and again... then again
So you're buying some other stuff too. Thank goodness..I'd thought you folks had finally gone bonkers.
You know when we go to buy vegetables and if purchase is good enough (Rs. 100-150), vegetablewalla gives some Corriander, Ginger and Chilli for free. Now for (FGFA) deal this big value, don't you feel Russia should throw in some 10-12 YAK 130 and couple of Simulators as freebies.
Just saying!
Compairing vegetables amounts 100 bucks at max with $30bn FGFA
It was EPIC
india must not but yak130.. such a waste of money ... yak 130 is not good aircraft
Two important ponts .
1. Russia pushing the deal and not India .
2. News by IDRW .
So bottomline is not going to happen.

Defence experts say it is unlikely IAF will go for new trainers any time soon.
Article its self says the same whats your ponts ??
