Alliance does not need tanks. Tanks shoot up to some 2 km. Artillery shoots about 10 times as far, out of range of anti tank missiles. Artillery, large caliber sniper files, heavy machine guns, air power are sufficient against insurgents who do not have tanks, artillery, air power.
