Russian missiles for the fighter Rafale?

Indian Air Force are armed with a large number of Russian-made missiles, rockets are particularly numerous air-to-air R-73 and RVV-AE missiles and air-to-surface a series of X-31.

Previously, the company Dassault stated that Rafale has not been selected number of potential customers because of too high cost "rocket pack" made in France,

What exactly is the meaning of this statement? Are you talking about the rockets or missiles? And why would they be so expensive to affect the deal?

Wow, that is surprising, any other media carrying the news?

There were other reports of negotians proceeding but nothing major as it was all a storm in a tea cup anyway and you know how the Indian media works- blows up nonsense and non-stories into huge news and when their lies/seansationlism is found out cover the truth as little as possible. This probably found itself at the bottom in tiny font on a few desi news websites- that's about it.

May be everyone are trying to keep us guessing what would be the weapon's package of the indian MMRCA deal:omghaha:

At least everyone is trying to sell us something, but as long as the Indian weapons are not developed, the most likely additions cought be Israeli and not Russian. Even Brahmos might only be added when the light version is developed.

.
A sensational piece of news came from Boris Obnosov, General Director of Russia’s Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation (TRV), who told reporters that the French Rafale jets that won an Indian Air Force tender may be equipped with Russian missiles. The TRV is ready to adapt Russian missiles for Rafales. The company showcased a wide range of new weapons. Some have already completed ultimate tests, while others are currently being tested.

Does this count as a reliable source.

GIVES NO SPECIFIC WEAPON
True but still its coming from a general director. That alone should count for something. They must be waiting for the mod to first sign the damn contract before announcing the specific package.
