There are no SU35 in Libya. The US pictures show the Mig 29 jets in Syria prior to being shipped to Libya. The SU35s just happened to be in the picture. SU24s were sent to Libya with the Mig 29s.

US AFRICOM said in press release SU-35 DEPLOYED in Libya .... they said so .....

in my opinion, it is done as a response to NATO interference in Libya by supporting Militias in Tripoli just like in Syria.
