TEHRAN, Jul. 12 (MNA) – Russian Ambassador to Tehran Alexey Dedov was summoned to Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday following the issuance of the Russia-PGCC joint statement over Iran's trio islands in the Persian Gulf

The Russian envoy was informed about Iran's protest over the content of the statement regarding the trio islands belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting with the Russian envoy, the Director-General of the Iranian Foreign Ministry for the Persian Gulf Affairs Alireza Enayati stressed that the trio islands belong to Iran and called on the Russian Federation to rectify its position regarding the issue.

The Russian ambassador, for his part, emphasized the respect for the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said that he would convey the matter to Moscow as soon as possible.

The sixth joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and the Russian Federation was held on Monday, July 10, 2023, in Moscow. The ministers in a statement raised the issue of reaching a peaceful solution to the issue of Iran's trio islands.

Reacting to the statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani on Tuesday emphasized that the three islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa belong to Iran forever, adding that issuing such statements is against the friendly relations between Iran and its neighbors.

Emphasizing the continuation of the policy of good neighborliness and mutual respect, Kan'ani called on the countries of the region to be responsible for the development and stability of the region.

Definitive ownership documents of Greater and Lesser Tunbs and Abu Musa in Hormozgan province have been issued in the name of the Iranian government.

Demarcation of the boundary line between the Persian Gulf Trio Islands and the Oman Sea is one of the priorities of the Iranian Judicial system and the Real Estate Registration Organization.

Tehran has always stressed that the three Iranian islands of Abu Musa, the Greater Tunb, and the Lesser Tunb in the Persian Gulf are inseparable and eternal parts of the Iranian territory.

Actually this was the Iranian mullah who managed to repel U.S threat while had no money, or weapons, or technology. (if you could understand just this line!)

U.S spent $8 trillion in middle east, yet today everyone says Iran is the winner, even U.S allies are disappointed with U.S, in fact, U.S is defeated cause it's shortsighted leaders had the same mentality as you.

All other line are false as well, for example nothing was given to Iraq for free, but today it's a strategic ally of Iran (regardless of it's government!) and one of top economic partners of Iran. If that was true at one point in time,then you would think that by now,post jcpoa,that the russians would`ve finally accepted that almost any chance of any conceivable western-iranian rapprochement,baring of course some completely unforeseen radical political realignment in iran or the west,was virtually NIL.
Indeed imho I think that the current chances,minuscule as they would be,of a rapprochement between russia and the west would,at this point,be greater than the chances of one between iran and the west.

At this point its seems rather clear both from a political and economic perspective,that there is now remarkably little difference as far as iran would be concerned between india and pakistan,as BOTH nations are now effectively western vassals with very little of anything to offer iran.
Interestingly when it came to "helping" iran offered to help pakistan by continuing the ip pipeline project,even tho its economic rational ceased when the indians pulled out.Pakistan tho` sadly failed to honor its obligations under the agreement it had signed with iran.The indians for their part however did prove to be very slightly more reliable when it came to the chabahar port deal,tho not by much,as they moved about as slowly as a slug in an antarctic blizzard.
Ultimately neither country showed itself as reliable from irans perspective.

You know,its funny,but I cant help but notice that out of the two vassals,the west treats india by far the better,pakistan by comparison is quite literally the red headed step child,yet pakistans generals seem perfectly happy with this obviously lop sided arrangement,I wonder why?
