Russia war crime dropping cluster bombs on civilians in Aleppo province

The reason Russia is involved in this war is because Putin has a pathological hatred of Sunni Muslims. He sees himself as a latter day Salibi, and wants nothing more than to exterminate all Sunni Muslims.
You forget that in Russia Sunni Muslim second largest. What did he then do not cut the Tatars? Or why not destroy Kazakhstan? After all, in Kazakhstan, 70% of Sunnis? Enough to bear nonsense.

...well, when a one (like me) tries to go on way of common sence there will always be those admonishing for "holly religious wars" and stuff.. (claiming the bullshit about his spiritualistic capabilities of "reading others minds", i.e knowing "the hate of Putin to sunnis" or whatever rubbish) . Nothing can be done under such circumstances (I mean, I cannot convince a one like dat about Russian intensiones - which are more about Int Law, not the shyte about separations of "bad crusaders" and "good sunnies", but about the PEOPLE of Syria be able to decide their future, acknowledging that Assad far not an angel, but without "obstinate help" from ones like turkey, saudies and so on)

It's not necessary to read Putin's mind since we have his own words and actions as a guide before us.

You mean the Tatars he ethnically cleansed from Crimea and are persecuted in Russia itself? What does Kazakhstan have to do with Russia?? They are separate countries.

Look at Kazan. It looks like a humiliation Tatarka?
The Crimean Tatars, who insisted, were not against Russia. Against Russia a bunch of idiots, which has no support among the Tatars.
Hizbuttahrir just this Madzhelisa increased. Hizbuttahrir banned in Turkey, Russia, USA, Germany, Kazakhstan. It is the terrorists. Of course they are against. You now Hizbuttahrir will support? After Maggio tightly connected with them. Majlisi a small number of radical Tatars.

I'm impressed with your concern with preventing Sunni Muslim groups with shall we say right-wing views. Does that extend to Russian support for violent racist anti-Sunni Muslim groups in the USA, Canada, and Europe? Because it's becoming more than obvious that those groups are being stirred up by Russian media such as RT, and organized by people in Russia? Or are you not concerned with the HATE being spread by Russia against Sunni Muslims.

Cultural vandalism

From the very beginning of the illegal annexation of Crimea, Russian authorities targeted the Crimean Tatar community. Refat Chubarov and Mustafa Dzhemilev, the current and former chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars respectively, have been barred by the Russians from entering Crimea.

Russian security services have raided homes and offices of prominent Crimean Tatars on dubious pretences. Moscow has banned the annual ceremonies marking the mass deportation of the Crimean Tatars by Stalin in 1944. Russia has also banned select pieces of Crimean Tatar literature and religious books even though the same texts were acceptable when Ukraine governed Crimea.

Tatar-language media outlets have been raided by Russian security forces and in some cases shut down. Some in Moscow are even calling for the "de-Turkification" of Crimea by changing the name of the peninsula and its major cities back to the names used by the ancient Greeks. For example, Crimea would become Taurida, Kerch would become Pantikapaion, Feodosia would become Theodosia, and Sevastopol would become Sevastoupoli.

Ignoring the role that Turkic culture has played in Crimea's history, and suppressing the Crimean Tatar language, amounts to nothing short of cultural vandalism.

Today, the Crimean Tatars make up only 13 percent of Crimea's population. This is a far cry from the days of the khanate when the Tatars were the largest ethnic group living on Crimea. While the Tatars are able to mobilise - and they regularly boycott Russian backed elections - they are now too small to resist in any meaningful way. Perhaps this was Russia's plan all along since Catherine the Great's time.

With all the religious and political persecution taking place around the world it is easy to overlook what is taking place in Crimea. As policymakers focus on bringing peace to the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, they should not forget the plight of the Crimean Tatars.

Putin's war on the Crimean Tatars - Al Jazeera English

and Forbes

They’ve become targets for forced disappearances, abductions, unlawful search and seizures, unjust imprisonment and torture by Russian occupation authorities and the organized gangs who support them. As of right now, 21 Crimean Tatars have been kidnapped – three of whom were later found dead – and more than 130 criminal cases have been filed against Crimean Tatar activists. As a result of Russia’s occupation policies, over 10,000 Crimean Tatars were forced to leave Crimea and settle in mainland Ukraine.

Well no I don't support Hizuttahrir since I'm not a fan of their idea that arab culture = islam.

However you've raised an interesting point...are you saying that the entire population of crimean tatars were members of Hizbuttahrir? Perhaps a large number, say about 60% of all crimean tatars are members and therefore were persecuted by the Russian government as they could have infiltrated the russian army, mounted a coup, overthrown Putin, and created a 'Caliphate' based in Moscow--the stated modus operandi of Hizbutahrir in muslim majority states?....

And please, we're not stupid. We watch RT. And Sunni Muslims are becoming aware of the games Russia is playing.

Most importantly, however, the Swedish report on the meeting states that, during its visit to Sweden, the Russian delegation has donated money to the Swedish fascists as a contribution to the building of a political party on the basis of the "Nordic Resistance". The information about the donation has been confirmed by the RID itself. The amount of the donation has not been disclosed.

The RID is not an ordinary far right organization, but a fascist paramilitary movement that poses a potential terrorist threat to democratic societies. To understand the nature of this movement, as well as getting more insight into the WNCM that was co-founded by the RID, it seems appropriate to consider the current activities of the movement.

The RID was established in 2002 in St. Petersburg by Stanislav Vorobyov. Its major political goals are the revival of the Russian Empire (and regaining the "lost" territories) and the restoration of the Russian monarchy.

It is important to note that the RID positions themselves as opponents of Russia's President Vladimir Putin, but according their interviews and other materials, they have no problem with either holding military training courses in Russia, nor sending military equipment or volunteers to Eastern Ukraine to kill Ukrainians. There seems to be a tacit agreement between the RID and the authorities. The fact that the RID seems to have cooperated with the former commander of the pro-Russian extremists Igor Strelkov-Girkin (whose activities were sponsored by the Russian "Orthodox oligarch" Konstantin Malofeev), the movement likely has an understanding with the Russian authorities.

Hmm, that's funny. Recently there was a meeting with the Americans in Almaty, there Hizbuttahrir referred to as a terrorist organization. In other matters, I am not surprised by their deceitful policy.

Hizbutahrir didn't exist when Stalin was in charge, so why have the Rus prevented the Tatars from holding commemoration ceremonies for the Holocaust against them by Stalin?

The start of the end times is upon us I advice you all to buy gold, silver and land with a water source if possible as the real aim is to reduce the worlds population with new viruses etc

Does Putin care what sort of Islam you follow?

"The Russian Quest for Warm Water Ports
For nearly two hundred years the policy of obtaining, maintaining, and increasing a seaboard has been consistently followed. If that policy was inaugurated by Peter the Great, it was nevertheless absolutely due to the operation of irresistible natural forces. A great nation must seek a seaboard corresponding in extent to its needs, and Russia could no more be restrained in her seaward expansion than could the United States in overflowing the Rocky Mountains in their march to the Pacific. The policy thus forced upon Russia by the conditions of her being has involved many wars and great sacrifices. The methods adopted have been various, and, in common with those which have commended themselves to all nations, have not been wholly blameless; but only the curious inability of the British people to realise the necessities of others can blind us to the fact that Russian expansion was as inevitable as our own. To the fifty millions of Great and Greater Britain free access to the sea is the breath of national life; by the eighty millions of Russia the same vital need is instinctively felt."

Agree,i already said this before, Russia just like any western power is justified in protecting it's interests BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY IN SYRIA and the region. In this regard, Russia's naval military base/facility is also one of the main reason Russia intervened to protect its military base and access to the Mediterranean sea. Nothing wrong about that. I just find it funny when some naive cheerleader members here try to frame it as if Russia is a holy superman trying to save Syrians and looking out for their well being.:cheesy:

Russia action and intervention in Syria just like in Crimea is for its own national security interests as well(both countries host Russian naval military base). We need to understand the reason for this.
During World War I, Russia made a never-consummated secret agreement with Britain and France that would have granted it control of Constantinople and the Turkish straits if the Allies proved victorious. Although Russia enjoyed access to naval bases throughout the Mediterranean during the Soviet era, the collapse of the U.S.S.R. brought an end to that access, with the exception of Russia’s base in Tartus, Syria.

Tartus lies on Syria’s western coast and has had a Russian naval presence since 1971.:woot: At the time, the Soviet Union was(and is still) Syria’s primary arms supplier, patron and used the deep-water port as a destination for shipments of Soviet weapons. Russia managed to maintain access to Tartus after the fall of the U.S.S.R. due in part to a deal that wrote off Syrian debts to the Soviet Union. Even though the Russian naval base itself is reportedly less than impressive(it lacks large-scale repair facilities and a command-and-control capability, which would allow Russia to oversee operations from Tartus) but it is able to accommodate all Russian naval vessels except for the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, and offers a means of offloading arms and personnel which are crucial for Russia's continuous presence/power projection capabilities(as in time of conflicts) in the region.
We should also note that Russia chose to go as far as annexing Crimea, thereby ensuring control over its crucial Sevastopol naval base, whereas it did not take the same approach in Abkhazia or South Ossetia, two breakaway Georgian republics allied with Russia but not endowed with Russian naval bases.
WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THAT as the sole Russian naval base beyond the Bosporus(which is controlled by Turkey, a NATO member) Tartus naval base helps establish Russia’s presence in the Mediterranean.I think Russia does have a bigger geopolitical view of the world, regards the eastern Mediterranean as an area of importance, and wants to be sure that it can secure its interests there:police:

I red an article where Vice Admiral Viktor Chirkov, the commander in chief of the Russian Navy openly said: “This base is essential to us.” How vital is Syria's Tartus port to Russia? - BBC News

Will be interesting to see how this geo political war plays out these coming years.:taz:
