UAF will not have easy time in trying to achieve their offensive goals as they are attacking on properly layered defense lines without significant numerical and fire power superiority and without any air support.
For me this offensive does not have military justification but I suppose they succumbed to the ongoing international media and people expectations that they will conduct some decisive offensive anyway. If they fail it will have dire consequences for their overall war effort.

I don't think the radar is fake. You can see people running from the radar just before the lancet "hit" it.

@jhungary
That have no bearing on whether or not that radar is fake tho. They can put real people in there with a fake radar, and if you are under attack, you run regardless.

The issue I have with is that particular "person" on top of that radar system that had not move at all between 0:18 - 0:22. That tell me that person is a fake or a mannequin, would they put a mannequin on top of the radar system? Sure, a bit weird but sure, but it was unlikely..

Another thing makes me think that radar is fake is that you see a IRIS-T launcher in the beginning of the video and then the drone moves up the road and "found" that radar, would you deploy that radar system that close to a launcher? Given that particular system has a 120km detection range.

Yes, and thatÄs the funny part; they are already discussing the „offensive's failure“ based on the lack of information and the two confirmed „kills“ of modern Western equipment.

Well, well … the cope is strong with some! :rofl:

It's funny people are coming to the conclusion of "a failed offensive" when Ukrainians are still on the probing mode (as every attack involve no more than a company and dozen of armored vehicles) and are basing their opinion on a single video released by the Russians.

Breaking Russian lines will be hard and tough surely there will be casualties but people are forgetting Russians are getting hammered hard by artillery and missile strikes as we speak.

Lol, only a few battalions have engaged. The bulk of Ukraines units are still waiting. The Tokmak axis may be an attempt to draw in Russian reserves with the main attack axis further east with less fortifications to overcome.

Did you ask yourself why anyone would paint an expensive prized piece of military kit white? Especially when only one such system was delivered by Germany and it was painted olive green when it first arrived. Second why were these dumb Ukrainian‘s trying to hide the radar mounted truck in the trees with the huge radar panel sticking out? The IRIS-T was last seen protecting the skies of Kiev -why would they move it closer to the front, within range of Russian artillery?
