We know that's false because counties with big demand like Pakistan approached for 100,000 barrels of oil and answer was a very small discount if any.You still don’t understand.
Yes the demand of oil still the same. The trick is how to make the Russians poor. The EU refuses to buy Russia’s crude and refined products. So Russia sells crude to India below market price, some 30-40 percent discount. India refines the crude to finished fuels then sells at market price to Europe. That’s ok. India makes big profit. The EU still gets the fuels. While the Russians get less money than in the past before sanction.
So sure may be 10 or 20% discount but not a big one
Russia was rolling in money ever since the oil prices hit 50. Even early 2000with oil prices in 30s it was making hefty money.
Enough for Russia to keep fighting for years to come..
