In next 10 years S400 will be useless. ( for a start )....

S400 systems are considered the best anti Air weapons of this age.....how will they be useless?

China's economy is 4 times as large as Russia and growing twice as quick.

Apart from nuclear weapons, Russia will be a distant 3rd to the US and China by the end of this decade.

Trying would be like swimming against the current.

Note that Russia is increasing ICBMs, not IRBMs. If it was increasing IRBMs, China would be worried very much, but since its ICBMs, we have little to worry about.

With advancements in laser weaponary and stratospheric UCAvs the current S400s will need improvements.

Sorry mate, but laser weaponry and stratospheric UCAs will take another 7-8 years to be operational. And S400 will be deployed by end of 2013 or mid of 2014
