If you say so, but i think its not, these 2 design is/was wholly different Yak 141 was using separate engines for VTOL operations whereas F35B is using LIFT FAN TECH

No why should we??? according to information giving by ROSTEC its first flight will be in 2023 and testing will continue 3 years afterword than our project AZM will be ready for first flight in 2027/2028 time frame

Pakistan have AZM program in long run and in shortrun Chinese J31 are there.

Only possibility for PAF interest in future can be non manned version (if it materialized) to be used as loyal wingman drone with azm.

AZM is one and half decade's away for production or even more.

No, IAF will not have their AMCA or any 5th gen at the same time periods post 2030 so why we need 5th gen jets so early and as per PAF both J31 aka J35 and AZM will have a same capability so why we will need to induct almost same capable stealth jets??

You are right make sense totally, if india don't have 5th gen earliest then we shouldn't involve in this race.

But consider senario if india able to induct 5th gen by playing Chinese 5th gen card. most probably F35 (American are good in playing such role). At that time can we wait for AZM ?

The picture that I specifically quoted shows a very obvious break in the surface, suggesting that it is a moving surface. Also, I see no radiation symbols on that surface.

You're right, I was looking at the wingtips, my bad. Tough to be 100% certain that those are moving surfaces, but given all the indications, they probably are. Being pretty small and not seeing any hinging, they would have to work with the TVC in order to have any effect that resembles that of H-stabs and the hinging would more likely be similar to the LEVCONs on the Su-57.

First of all Pakistan currently not showing any interest on J31/J35 or may be waiting of the first flight of J35 and If India will pressurize USA in the name of Chinese 5th gen jets and India will place an order of F35 lets say in 2022 and that order will be fulfilled in late 2020, when AZM will be flying

To me it seems high bypass engine to get extra juice and due to bigger inlets.

High bypass ratio engine is not for fighter jets, all fighter jets uses low bypass turbofans expect f35 but high bypass turbofan has its own limitations, and basically F35 is not using high bypass turbofans because of EXTRA JUICE but for Noise restrictions in USA, High bypass engines are quiter than low bypass turbofans (passenger jets always uses high bypass turbofans for quite operations)
