Seems to be essentially a single engine Su-57. I'm not sure whether it has a ventral DSI intake thought, looks like lateral side intakes, maybe similar to the Su-57. In addition, the countries shown in the promotional video suggest its intended market, UAE, India, Vietnam, Argentina? Or at least the intended type of potential customer, so emerging markets where focus is on cost.

So what do you and @vostok think about that aircraft? Even though it's covered up, you can still see a lot of its shape and size and stabilators etc. It does appear to look a lot more like the LMFS CGI you had in your post. BTW, the fella who made that CGI in 2017 was way ahead of any knowledge about that aircraft and looks like he nailed it. He's quite the knowledgeable fella, also.
I thought it will be like this but seems I was wrong.

Those intakes would never work in that location, especially under high AoA flight regimes, similar to the Iranian 'stealth fighter'.
Thanks to American stealth drones captured by IRGC, we have developed the stealth coating for our drones and fighter jets. It maybe the field that Iran would be ahead of other after Americans.
Russian fifth gen Mig fighter will enjoy better engines and avionics. The Iranian developed one is still under development waiting on light turbofan engines developed by HESA-MAPNA.
Btw, Sukhoi is much ahead of Mikoyan company.
I read somewhere Russia was trying to develop an unmanned fighter jet. Don't know this is related to it or not!?

The intakes(Lateral intakes) are a bit different to what i was expecting which was vertical intake with a DSI bump.

This is good news - looks like it is a mature design. Russia's biggest advantage is they can still make good engines and this puppy will have the most powerful engine that they can make.

I wonder "how interested the Iranians will be in this !!!". Seems perfect for them. A competitor to the F35 that UAE will field with stealth characteristics that will cause American forces no end of bother over the "Persian Gulf" and the ME in general.

How long before Egypt also buys theses(they seem to be buying every plane out there at the moment - their procurement feels random to me for sure ).

Of course, this plane will still be hobbled by Russian Radars, ECM & EW capabilities, as well as overall Sensor Fusion capabilities, and of course their BVR AAMs etc..

Depending on Pricing - this has the potential to make things difficult for the JF17, though the only advantages this plane has is the potential stealth cloak(how effetive their stealth tech is still questionable looking at the Su-57) and the engines, which will be powerful for sure, and which will give better payload capabilites. On Radars, ECM & EW, Sensor Fusion, I suspect the JF17 Block III will wipe the floor very comfortably for sure.

I dont think so, its a different generation plane. It will most probably take another 5 to 8 years for serial production and definitely cost more than twice a JF17.
