Yes gas is cleaner however it’s still considered as dirty. the EU especially Germany plans it as “transition fuel”. That means the use of natural gas will gradually decrease when another renewal fuel can replace it, for instance, hydrogen.
Now the EU and in larger extent the world has a problem.
