reason of the rejection:
india had chosen manufactures of failure equipment by themselves

this is a very bad news....
the russia does not care of their own reputation.

In my view the best solution for india is ask the russia to pay back the 2 billion usd , and let the russia keep the ACC. and end the nightmare.

Indeed the Russian company doesn't care about its reputation. It's their fault to install the equipment without knowing whether they work or not. Very unprofessional!

Thanks to Indian baboos, that money will never come back. Better hope Russians will get this seaworthy soon and send it to India even when it is not 100% operational. At least Indians will have something to replace INS Veraat..

Oh really
Russians offered full pay back years ago. If you don't know go search it. India insist on delivey as it was and still is most cost effective solution.
And pease atleast you should not tell us how to spend money. Your economy is at worst possible point and your gov. is still spending tonns on defence.

May be or as if article said MOD didnt insists on it.
Russian side is quite, MOD said publicly its not considering to apply penalty before the meetings. Go see the link in other thread.

And what ever it be. It's still best deal for India.

But I don't trust this link. It's a international trade and India-Russia relations are of billions of dollars. Russia won't harm those for few millions but atleast whatever guies with Conspo theories. What can I say good job

Once India back off on the penalty. Russia will send a bill to India for repair. The message would be to pay for the repair or lose the AC. Sadly, the question now is how much more will India have to sink in....

If I'm the guy buying the AC, I would say, just give it as it is, we'll fix it ourselves. But is India able to fix it? maybe India should ask America or France to fix it if India is not capable of fixing it.

Hope the defense manufacturers learn their lesson and dont procure cchinese parts or components for sensitive defense equipments.
