Hospitals are untouchable even at the war times, even if you have intel about Al-Nusra officers are there blowing up the entire building would be the last option specially if it's a hospital. But apperantly Russia or Syria have no capability to run a PINPOINT operation other than bombing the building. You should be more concerned about why a militant was hiding in the hospital.

How do you know he was hiding? Maybe he took hospital by force, took hostages, threatened the staff, or maybe he was wounded and doctors cured him unwillingly or for just their Hippocratic oath. There is no excuse to bomb a HOSPITAL. This is the lowest level even in terms of war times. Why don't you just nuke the whole city ? The city harbors the militants after all and you don't care about civillian loss. Let's make one thing clear, I do give no shit about Al-Nusra or whatever they are.
