for a drone you don't need an f22 class engine , an engine with a lot less power also suffice and our metalorgy may not be to an extent to produce Pratt & Whitney F119 with 156kn+ output but we are were well able to produce something like Garrett TFE731 or General Electric TF34 which have 1/4th or 1/5th of the output and is romured to be used in sentinel

which uav?(max. take off weight,endurance hours,max altitude,payload weight,weapons)
ıt is not easy to fly heavy uavs above 30.000 feet for long hours.

the main problem is not making the gas turbine or the engine.how about the durability tests?
ı give you an example that hyundai which lacks on 1500 hp tank engine.They are very advanced on diesel engines but cant do the same on tank engine and transmission.
If you say we are comparable in metallurgy to germans,france,russians,english and americans, i cant say anything.
