UAVs are made as a cheap alternative to recon planes and to preserve lives of pilots. So it's no big deal that drones crash or being shot down. U.S loses millions of dollars worth of drones every year.
Any country with an active UAV program sees that happening. So what's this fuss about?
We detected a highly stealth drone, hacked it through sophisticated methodes, captured it safely and we study on its advanced technologies.it is silly to compare them.Funny how u guys glorified bringing down of an american drone and now u say this shit.....
u guys must be one of the most Hippocratic people alive
You said it yourself. We "brought down" America's most advanced UAV intact and got our hand on one of their latest techs in drone warfare.Funny how u guys glorified bringing down of an american drone and now u say this shit.....

it is actually very difficult.not only you have to block all signals coming from satellites and ground stations you also have to decive the autopilot system of the drone which is not an easy task.and off course that drone worth more than 6 milion dollars because of the technologies used.its engine, sensors, stealth coating materials.........Its not difficult to capture or bring down a drone, you either shoot it out the sky or block all signals going to it, they are expendable, the RQ-170 is only like $6 million, a single hellfire missile costs about $100,000 and a tomahawk $1.5 million so you can see how expendable they really are.
It is the way they bought the US stealth drone that deserves merit.Funny how u guys glorified bringing down of an american drone and now u say this shit.....

Israeli technologies get anywhereUAV FORPOST costs 6 million USD produced in Russia under licence IAI
There is a gigantic different between shooting down and bringing down ....

It's much different than shooting down the drone or being crashed, in case you can't understand their difference.
And are you really comparing RQ-170 with Russian Orlan-10 UAV?
